To make trigger poses you must create or obtain a viable .xaf file.
First thing to do is derive from an IMVU
Derivable item like the one below Item
In the Geometry tab remove the specific
body part 2, it will change to 0 after a pop up asking you if it is ok. Now add
a new body part I used 50; I believe a number higher than 20 should suffice.
Next go to the actions
tab; under actions click add. Using the
following image, input the settings as shown. “Trigger” in the trigger box is
the name Trigger you want to use. Under
Skeletal Animation, where it says “Filename.xaf” in the image is where you
would upload your .xaf file. Once this is done click apply.
Now, you can go check out your pose…click the play button and it should work. Now in some cases the avatar will do a pose in the air if it is not a standing pose…I am not unsure how to fix that.
Next click the
special tab and remove the number from the compatible body pattern product
ID…this should ensure that all avatars can do the pose.
Click Apply and
you should test it one more time by clicking play in the action tab…and if
still works then hit save and submit as usual.
***Side Note: I
created a derivable pose maker with these settings so that I would have to
input every just upload then .xaf file(s).***
